The twenty-four elders of the Holy Door

Several sculptures from Master Mateo’s stone choir were relocated, at different times, in the façade of the Holy Door, thus creating the group of the twenty-four elders that included prophets, apostles, and other biblical characters who originally formed the iconographic program developed in the façades of the choir.
